Terms and conditions

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Fareboard. Please read them before signing up. If anything's unclear, email hello@fareboard.co.uk.

1. About us

Fareboard (fareboard.co.uk) is run by Siviter Lifestyle Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16525225), registered office 8 Anns Close, Flat 3, London SW1X 8EG ("we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@fareboard.co.uk.

2. What Fareboard does, and doesn't do

Fareboard checks flight prices from UK airports and emails you when a fare is well below what that route normally costs, based on the settings you choose.

  • We don't sell flights and we're not a travel agent. When you book, your contract is with the airline or booking website, on their terms. We're not responsible for their prices, service, changes, cancellations or refunds.
  • Prices change quickly. The fares in our emails are the prices we last found. By the time you click, a fare may have gone up or sold out, and the final price may include extra charges (such as bags or seat selection). Always check the details before you book.
  • We can't promise any number of deals. How many alerts you get depends on the fares available and your settings. "Normal price" is our own estimate, based on prices we've recorded for that route.
  • Commission: we may earn a commission from the booking website if you book through our links. This doesn't change the price you pay.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and live in the UK to create an account.
  • One account per person. Accounts are for personal use only.
  • We sign you in with one-time links sent to your email, so please keep your email account secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your Fareboard account.

4. Plans and prices

PlanPriceWhat you get
Free£0A weekly email of deals from one home airport, economy fares.
Premium£6 a month, or £49 a yearInstant, daily or weekly alerts from every UK airport we cover, including mistake fares and flash sales when we find them.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. The plan descriptions on our website form part of these terms.

5. Paying for Premium

  • Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see your full card details.
  • You pay at the start of each billing period (each month, or each year).
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and we take the next payment, until you cancel.
  • If we're going to raise the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe will try again over the following days. If it still can't be taken, your account moves to the Free plan.

6. Cancelling

Cancelling any time: you can cancel your Premium subscription whenever you like from your account page (My account → Manage billing, card or cancel). You'll keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for, then move to the Free plan. We don't give partial refunds for the rest of a period, except where section 7 applies or the law requires it.

Stopping emails: you can unsubscribe from alert emails at any time using the link in every email. This doesn't cancel a paid subscription; please cancel that from your account page.

Closing your account: email hello@fareboard.co.uk and we'll close it and delete your information as described in our privacy policy.

7. Your 14-day right to cancel

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel a new Premium subscription within 14 days of the day you first subscribe, without giving a reason.

Your alerts start straight away when you subscribe. Even so, if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we'll refund that payment in full. To do this, email hello@fareboard.co.uk with the email address on your account and say you want to cancel. You don't need to use any particular form. We'll refund you to the card you paid with within 14 days of hearing from you.

This applies to your first payment for Premium. It doesn't apply to later renewals.

8. Using Fareboard fairly

You mustn't:

  • copy, resell, publish or redistribute our alerts, for example on a website, social media group or another alert service
  • use automated tools to scrape or overload our website
  • try to get into parts of our systems you're not meant to, or interfere with how Fareboard works
  • use Fareboard for anything unlawful

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. If you've paid, we'll refund any part of a period you haven't used, unless the law allows us not to.

9. Changes to Fareboard or these terms

We may improve or change Fareboard, for example by adding or removing airports or destinations. If we make a change that significantly reduces what Premium includes, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel and get a refund for any unused part of a period you've paid for.

We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law. We'll email you about important changes before they apply to you.

If we ever stop running Fareboard, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused part of a period you've paid for.

10. Our responsibility to you

  • We'll provide Fareboard with reasonable care and skill, as the law requires.
  • We aren't responsible for losses caused by fares changing or selling out, or by airlines, booking websites or anyone else outside our control. We also aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers.
  • We only supply Fareboard for personal use. We have no responsibility to you for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
  • Apart from the points below, if we're responsible for any loss you suffer, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the loss happened.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't legally be limited. Nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer. For advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

11. Your personal information

How we use your personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

12. Complaints and disputes

If you have a problem, please email hello@fareboard.co.uk first, and we'll do our best to sort it out quickly.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

13. Other important terms

  • We may transfer this agreement to another organisation, for example if Fareboard is sold. We'll tell you in writing, and your rights won't be reduced.
  • If a court decides any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Nobody else has any rights under these terms.
